Damiano Ravasi

It's not easy to fall in love with your job, but it's even more difficult to be able to do without it...

Damiano Ravasi is born in Treviglio on December 14, 1971. He becomes glassblower apprentice at the age of 15 at Galimberti Cesare’s artistic laboratory in Treviglio, Bergamo, following all the steps required until to become a glassblower artisan.

In 1996 he decides to open his first shop “SOFFIO D’ARTE” in Crema, Cremona, obtaining different satisfactions. Since 1996, Damiano has been continuing to create and work glass despite there’s been a displacement of his shop. From 2002 to 2010 he moves in Treviglio, Bergamo, where he gets a good success  from his creations and start a direct collaboration with soffieria Decarlini in Macherio, Monza e Brianza, and soffieria F.D.E. in Boltiere, Bergamo, realizing different works of excellent quality. The name Gaigher Giuliano, an artist from Trevilgio, stands out from the others among the various collaborations.

After 30 intense years of different experiences Damiano decides to open a new workshop in Bergamo where he’ll make available all his immeasurable passion of glassblowing, his talent and techniques to realize any kind of request from clients.
